ABOUT TALENTED BANKERS

Talented Bankers' is a friendship circle of creative bankers working in various banks of the country, originally formed through Facebook. This vibrant group was established in April 2016 as the result of an idea conceived by a few, young and inspiring bankers as a podium to encourage the passions and talents of bankers and as an avenue to carry out constructive discussions and debates. Initially begun as a small Facebook group, 'Talented Bankers' has expanded over the years to contain more than 10000 members now.

We are now on various social media platforms, including Insta & Youtube.

There is a fortnightly Talented Banker column through which the editorial panel introduces a serving Banker who possesses commendable talent in any field.The editorial panel has introduced more than 250 Talented Bankers from different banks till date.
 

These talents include writers, photographers, singers, musicians, sportspersons, dancers and so on. The members who met one another in Facebook meet face-to-face every year. So far, five annual meets were conducted or rather celebrated, in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023 & 2024. There are clubs under the group to showcase and discuss specific activities. We now have Music Club, Movie Club, Literary Club, Dance Club, Farm Club, Artists Club and Photography Club.

Talented Bankers Literary Club

This is a group of like-minded book lovers (literally speaking.. bibliophiles ) that have been formed from the Facebook group of Talented bankers, who sat together and came out with the idea of presenting the condensed essense of books to other group members so as to introduce new books, to ignite the spark in all to read and get to the world of books, write reviews about them or even start writing- thus creating a new book loving culture. The group has come out with two books - "Kammattam" and "Thalaikoothalum mattu kadhakalum" in the last two years. A prestigious "Talented Bankers Sahithya Puraskaram" has been constituted for the best short story and best poem during every year.

Talented Bankers Movie Club

Movies - The magic that revolutionised the trajectory of mankind!
From the very inception since the rushing train on the big screen bedazzled the beholder marking the beginning of a new era, it has crossed intractable pathways amounting to crores of reel meters. Persevering all hurdles it keenly keeps on its never ending race by entertaining, enthralling, awakening and at times lulling the humanity to slumber. Oftentimes, movies pave way for an escape into a fantasy world. Drawn heavily by its emotionally satisfying experience and triggered by its realistic facets,the spectator laughs, gets cheered up and even weeps to no confines. Being the most innovative and enchanting art form cinema constitutes a big industry. 'Movie Club' is Talented Bankers Community's homage to the spellbinding experience of cinema. The platform is rich with movie reviews and insightful discussions put forward by eminent panelists every week.
